Why They Love It
Rats have exposure to various forms of enrichment while being group housed in a large enclose. They can rear, explore, nest, socialize, etc. Daily social interaction, including treat time, with human caretakers. Cageboard or foraging box can be placed on ground to prevent bedding substrate or foraging materials from falling through cage floor
Sanitation
Place rabbit condos through rack washer weekly. Ensure that all gaps in caging are small enough that the rodents cannot squeeze through

Equipment
- 2-4 Rabbit Units
- Cardboard
- Forage materials
- Rat Tunnels
Instructions
- make sure rabbit condos are sanitized via a rackwasher
- once dry, place 2-3 standard rat tunnels
- place forage box inside
- add gnawing materials such as gnawing blocks, manzanita sticks 1-2 per rodent
- add any veggies
- scatter inside the cage
- place 2-3 compatible rats, or hamsters inside condo and watch them exhibit their natural behaviors!
- ensure that all gaps in caging are small enough that the rats or any other rodents cannot squeeze through
