Roles and Responsibilities

Manage and post on AALAE’s social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Create content highlighting animal behavior insights, training techniques, enrichment innovations, member spotlights, and industry news.
Design promotional materials, such as flyers, banners, infographics, and email graphics for events and campaigns.
Develop a content calendar for consistent and strategic communication across platforms.
Share scientific research, success stories, and enrichment strategies to inspire and educate the lab animal community.
Collaborate with other committees to promote webinars, symposiums, courses, and membership benefits.
Assist in moderating and contributing to the AALAE Discussion Forum by sharing relevant threads and fostering engagement.
Symposium Planning Committee

Assist in planning for the annual symposium
Suggesting potential speakers and communicating with speakers on symposium updates
Assist in abstract submission process
Assist in symposium audience engagement/gamification
Assist in technical issues relative to zoom connections
Assist in communication and training of moderators and facilitators for symposium talk
