Pig Boxes

Boxes filled with treats allows pigs to root, chew and play to retreive the treats inside!

Equipment

  • 1 cardboard box
  • 1" Bristle Paint Brush

Materials

  • 1 cup fruit mix
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Open cardboard box
  • Dip brush in a couple tablespoons of honey
  • Paint honey on inside walls and bottom of box
  • Cut 1/2 cup of rasberries and strawberries
  • Add fruit mix to cardboard box, sticking some of the fruit on the sides of the cardboard
  • For NHPs, place in freezer, distribute the next day, 1 box/NHP
  • For pigs, distribute to pigs for immediate enrichment use, 1-2 boxes/pig
