Why They Love It

Horses are given forage material daily. Bucket of Treats is offered to mimic a more “natural” way of feeding, because the food is closer to the ground. It allows the horses to work for the treats. Hide sliced apples in the bucket too!

Sanitation

Sanitize bucket once a week.

Recipe

Treat Bucket

Horses should be given forage material daily, so in order not only to provide a Nutritional Enrichment, it is provided it in a way that it is also an occupational enrichment. Horses work to get the “treats” in the bucket, so they are kept busy.
